TUTIS FOSTER CARE
At Tutis Foster Care, we’re here for you. Our job is to make sure you feel safe, supported, and cared for while you’re living with your foster carers. We work alongside your carers and social worker to help you feel settled at home, do well at school, and have someone to talk to if things feel tough. If you ever have questions, worries, or just need support, you can always come to us
- you’re not on your own.
Who Can I Talk To?
You are never on your own, and there are lots of people you can talk to if you’re worried, upset, or need support.
Your Foster Carer – you can talk to them about everyday things, worries, or how you’re feeling.
Your Social Worker – they are there to listen to you and help make decisions about your care.
Tutis Foster Care – you can contact us if you need extra support or don’t feel comfortable talking to someone else.
You can also talk to people outside of Tutis if you want to speak to someone confidentially:

LEAVING FOSTER CARE
Leaving foster care means moving from being looked after by your local council into more independent life. This usually happens around your 18th birthday, but you can get help before and after that to prepare for things like where you’ll live, money, work or study, and skills for adult life.
If you’re in care, the law says your local council must start preparing you for adulthood from age 16 with a Pathway Plan (a plan for your future) and a Personal Adviser (someone whose job is to support you).
