On Wednesday our children, carers and staff enjoyed a fun filled day at Keswick. The weather was beautiful, and all attended had a fabulous day. We had a picnic, played games and enjoyed a boat ride.

Foster Care Fortnight 2026 is here, a time to celebrate incredible Foster Carers and raise awareness of fostering across the UK. This year’s theme is “This is Fostering,” and over the coming days we’ll be sharing real experiences from some of our Tutis fostering families. We’re kicking things off with our “Tree of Positivity.” Each leaf captures a carer’s or young person’s view on the rewards of fostering. It certainly brightens up our window. 1:1 Therapeutic Mentor Sessions Today, Tutis’ 1:1 therapeutic mentor supported some children in creating feelings masks, exploring feelings on the outside and inside. Through colours, textures, and creative expression, the children were able to show how they feel internally, as well as how they present themselves to the world. A meaningful and engaging activity that encourages emotional awareness, self-expression, and confidence. Lovely work from everyone involved today.

Last week, our children and foster carers enjoyed a lovely meal at The Countryman, followed by a children’s art morning the next day. It was wonderful to see everyone come together over food and take part in fun activities.

Last Week, Tutis made the most of the sunshine by taking a trip to the beautiful village of Grasmere with some of our older children. We kicked things off with lunch at The Swan (a favourite of William Wordsworth!) before strolling past the lake, through the village, and even spotting the “secret faeryland” along the way.
